Justification of the work: We need to perform maintenance on our network for optimization purposes of our long distance network in the United Kingdom.

We do not expect any outage to customer services as the work is taking place on dead fibres, but as work will take place next to live fibres, we are making customers aware of this work. In the event of a live fibre being disturbed, it could result in a short hit of no longer than 20 minutes but this is not expected. During this work, local fibre team will work in close proximity to live fibres in chambers near Welwyn Garden City. The maintenance should be completed within the announced 4 hour window. No outage is expected during the work,
