Summary: Systems engineers will be performing firmware updates on our storage platforms to ensure the latest vendor supported firmware version(s) are installed on all devices. All storage arrays are configured to allow uninterrupted firmware updates by utilizing HA configured controllers. These upgrades will occur after the business hours of the local datacenter and are expected to have no impact. If for any reason an impact occurs, we will communicate as soon any issues are detected.
Impact: No impact to running virtual machines is expected. However, some customers may experience slight degradation in storage performance during controller failovers as part of the upgrade process.
Customer Action: There is no action required. All services will resume as normal at the end of the maintenance window.
